Technical Drive has been a ‘Godsend’ for our team here. Prior to our partnership with TD, we had suffered immensely with IT issues, but these were resolved from the day we started to work with Technical Drive. I have yet to encounter an issue which TD have not resolved swiftly and with a professionalism which is hard to come by.

Technical Drive offers varied and easy solutions in ‘disaster recovery’ something which our previous providers did not. Our customers demand that disaster recovery be something we take seriously and with Technical Drives solutions and assistance we are now able to prove to our customers that we are and that it is all in place. Having a ‘Quality assurance manager’ who can liaise with our Quality manager also provides us with assurances our previous provider could not.
In having an account manager dedicated to us, I feel I always have a point of contact at technical drive, someone who knows us as a business as well as what software and hardware we have installed here at the factory. We recently purchased a new server and with the aid of our account manager, who knew exactly what we required, the whole process of installation was completed on time and without any incident. We experienced very little downtime due to the excellent planning of Technical drive and I was particularly impressed how they liaised with our internal ERP company ensuring all aspects of the business switched over seamlessly.
When Technical drive engineers are on site they always do a fantastic job and more often than not will do more than asked. When placing a call on the helpdesk I always find that the phone is answered and rather than waiting, a ticket is raised instantly and the problem is fixed in a short space of time.
Technical Drive provide excellent IT solutions for our company, we find their level of service is second to none. Over the past 7 years since using Technical Drive, they have been an integral part of our growing brokerage. They have supplied and installed new servers, installed robust and effective cyber security and have built up a strong and trusting relationship with our company. Our account handler is very attentive and provides us with expert knowledge. She has proposed many recommendations during her time as our account manager, that has significantly improved both our productivity and security. We feel the enthusiasm, drive and determination our Account Manager possesses, runs throughout the company – all staff we deal with at technical drive have the same positive, friendly “can do” approach.
In November 2019, unfortunately our company fell victim to a cyber-attack leaving us unable to access of systems; our business grinded to halt. The attempt of the attack was to encrypt our servers, leaving us with no option but to pay thousands of pounds in release fees to the cyber-crime organisation, in order to regain access and control of our systems again. The situation at the beginningbegging of this day was desperate and extremely distressing for us all. We contacted our Account Manager who immediately understood the severity of the situation; Technical Drive reassured us that everything in their power will be done to ensure we regain control and end the cyber-attack. Within the hour, Technical Drive’s most experienced engineers showed up at our office working on our servers. Later in the afternoon, a specialist technician arrived from over 50 miles away that Technical Drive had arranged. The engineers stayed on our site until 9pm fixing the servers. The following morning, our systems were back up and running and we were back to working as normal. We could not have asked Technical Drive to have dealt with the situation any better. The service wewere received from Technical Drive when we were in dire straits - was simply fantastic.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Technical Drive was always there helping our staff working from home with any issues. They were fast and effective in setting up equipment enabling our staff to work effectively from home at the beginning of the first lockdown. Doug in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that we had all the necessary laptops working as the lockdown became imminent. Without Technical Drive during the Covid-19 pandemic, our business would not be where it is today.
