Microsoft 365 and Outlook connectivity update on 1st November 2021 Although you may not directly be affected, as your Managed IT Service Provider, we wanted to let you know about an update that is happening on the 1st November 2021.
Starting 1st November 2021, the following versions of Outlook for Windows, as part of Office and Microsoft 365 Apps, will not be able to connect with Office 365 and Microsoft 365 services.
How will this affect you?If you are running an unsupported version then although the update begins on 1st November 2021, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your Outlook will stop working. However, it may have some connectivity issues and then stop working before May 2022.What can we do about it?If you are unsure if this will affect you or if you experience any issues, then please contact our IT Helpdesk for further information and to access our business connectivity support.
