Cyber Security has never been so essential! Today, Cyber Criminals are becoming more and more intelligent every day and they are out to scam you, take your money, your data, and your pride!
Phishing Email Attacks are often delivered via email spam and aim to trick individuals into giving away sensitive information or login credentials. The emails may appear to be from trusted sources, such as banks or government agencies, but are actually fraudulent.
When recipients click on links within these emails, they may be redirected to fake login pages where their credentials are harvested.
Spear Phishing, a more targeted variant, uses personalised emails to trick specific individuals or organisations. These attacks often focus on executives or financial departments, leveraging personal information to increase their chances of success.
Email Impersonation, also called Email Spoofing, is a type of phishing attack. In this scam, a cybercriminal pretends to be someone trustworthy—often via email. Their goal is to trick the recipient into doing something that benefits the attacker. By exploiting trust, these criminals make victims believe they're dealing with a legitimate person, when in fact, they're interacting with a fraudster.
Reputational Damage: Ignoring cybersecurity can lead to irreparable harm to your brand’s reputation. Fines and Licensing Issues: Regulated businesses face fines and licensing problems if they don’t take security seriously.
Anxiety and Stress: Cyber-attacks cause stress and anxiety for employees.
GDPR Concerns: Non-compliance with data protection regulations can cost your business up to 17.5 million or up to 4% of your annual turnover.
Direct Revenue Loss: Cyber incidents often result in financial losses and with most of the successful ones being caused by human error, it’s not cash you’ll ever get back
