Like many businesses, you may have been using Windows Server 2012 for a decade so we appreciate the concept of upgrading to a modernised, high-functioning IT environment may feel somewhat daunting.
It’s the decision to let go of old, outdated, IT features that makes room for companies like Microsoft to keep developing a technological future. And for you, the decision to upgrade or migrate to a newer, better, version of your IT infrastructure can give your company the cutting edge on competitors with a future to grow.
At Technical Drive, our IT specialists are here to take the overwhelmingness out of driving your business forward. We will ease you through an upgrade or migration process that is right for your team and your budget.
Of course, you could do nothing at all. But from 10 October 2023, Microsoft will no longer provide updates to protect any loopholes that hackers may find.
Other software providers (including Antivirus) are also likely to stop updating and supporting their product running on Server 2012/2012 R2. So stay as you are, and you run the risk of the server being compromised which could lead to downtime, data loss and possible loss of company reputation as a result!
If you’re using a Windows 2012 or Windows 2012 R2 server and are ready to explore your options in upgrading or migrating to a newer, better, IT environment, get in touch today. Technical Drive has already prepared many small to medium sized businesses to thrive amid a change to their security infrastructure.
