How Technical Drive Maintain High Performance

Technical Drive is a leading Managed Service Provider trusted by 250+ businesses across the Midlands, with independently measured service performance. We're dedicated to high levels of customer service. Our high engineer-to-client ratio, creates the capacity needed to absorb peak demand periods and means our clients are always connected directly to qualified experts instead of administrative ticket loggers.

This operational discipline is evidenced in our IT Support Helpdesk call response and ticket completion times, which in turn keeps our customer satisfaction and feedback scores positive. These performance levels enable Technical Drive to provide high quality IT Support for Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Technical Drive are open and transparent regarding our performance. These performance metrics are not just for show, they are subject to continuous scrutiny by our senior leadership team and undergo formal review as a core agenda item during each management meeting.

Live Client Satisfaction Tracker

After every support ticket we invite customers to rate their experience using the feedback platform SimpleSat. Each quarter around 750 customers provide us feedback, and every comment is analysed, discussed and used to improve our service.

Data is pulled automatically from our SimpleSat and a live 30 days rolling satisfaction score is shown below. On the 1st of every month we also record our score for the previous month: Our IT helpdesk achieved an average positive satisfaction rating via SimpleSat in the month of September 2026 of 99.4%.

Client Reviews

Behind our satisfaction score are real people getting their workday back on track. Here is what our clients had to say about their support experience today. Live, unfiltered, and updated automatically as tickets are completed. The Live Feed below is Powered by Simplesat.

Speed of Response

While most providers measure response times in minutes or hours, our benchmark to speak directly to an engineer is under 30 seconds, which includes during out-of-hours. Our statistics show the average for 2026 is 23.39 seconds and the average call pick-up time during Out of Hours is 25.26.

Once connected, our team gets straight to work, maintaining a resolution time significantly under industry averages. Small issues are usually fixed on the first call within minutes. Our average resolution time during 2026 for all tickets is  3.48 hours.

Continuous Improvement

Technical Drive don't collect this performance analysis for vanity. It is used by our senior management team to manage our resourcing on a real-time basis and to continuously improve our performance.

Measure: Every ticket, phone call and customer review is recorded.

Review: Leadership reviews the data every week.

Improve: Actions are agreed with the service desk and engineering teams.

Publish: We share publicly because we believe customers deserve transparency.

However numbers alone don't improve customer experience. People do. Which is why we've invested in a dedicated Customer Delivery Manager whose role is to review customer feedback, identify trends and ensure we're continually improving every aspect of our service.

Annual Client Survey

As well as ongoing monitoring of performance metrics and helpdesk feedback Technical Drive conduct an in-depth annual client satisfaction survey by independent telephone interview. The survey which has been running for over a decade, provides invaluable insights that help us to deliver exceptional service and keep client happiness at the heart of everything we do.

In our 2025 end of year survey, our clients gave us an outstanding +89 in Net Satisfaction.

Net Satisfaction is adapted from the standard Net Promoter Score® (NPS) framework using a 1–5 scale. It subtracts our detractors (scores of 1–2) from our promoters (scores of 4–5). Passives (score of 3) are included in the baseline total.

Client Reviews

We publish the feedback our clients give us on Google Reviews. We’re proud to showcase our 4.8 stars from 186 reviews. Technical Drive also has reviews across leading business directories, including CloudTango, and Clutch.

Monthly Client Reports

We believe in complete transparency. Our clients receive monthly reports with analytics and performance data that help them make informed decisions. Plus regular meetings with a dedicated Account Manager and Technical Director provide the opportunity for in-depth discussions regarding their business and how they can grow through a strategic approach to their technology.
